Care guide

Garment Care

Your Undiesmith pairs don’t need anything special. A cold machine wash and a gentle dry help keep the bamboo soft, the stretch lively and the fit right, wash after wash.

Machine wash cold

No hand washing needed.

Hang or tumble dry low

Hang drying is the gentlest option.

No bleach

No ironing or dry cleaning either.

Washing

Machine wash cold on a regular or gentle cycle with a mild everyday detergent. There’s no need to hand wash.

  • Turn pairs inside out to protect the outer face of the fabric.
  • Wash darks with darks and lights with lights.
  • Close zips, hooks and Velcro on anything else in the load, as they can snag the fine bamboo knit.

Drying

Hang dry, or tumble dry on low. Hang drying is the gentlest option and helps the stretch last longer.

Skip high heat. It’s hard on the SmoothBack™ waistband and the SculptPouch™’s elastic border.

What to avoid

  • Bleach weakens the bamboo yarn and can mark the fabric.
  • Ironing isn’t needed, and the heat can damage the stretch.
  • Dry cleaning solvents are too harsh for the fabric.
  • Fabric softener coats the yarn and can leave it less soft and less breathable over time.

Why it matters

Superfine 50s bamboo viscose is what makes your pairs feel so soft against your skin. Treated gently, it holds onto that softness, along with the stretch and fit of the RunFree™ inner thigh panels, AirGrid™ rear panel and softly lined SmoothBack™ waistband.

Storing your pairs

Fold or roll them into a drawer. There’s nothing special to do. Rotating through a few pairs gives the fabric and elastic time to recover between wears, and our 4, 7 and 15 Packs make that easy.
